The CURT universal truck bed extender lets you make full use of your truck bed, maximizing cargo storage space while promoting enhanced security. It extends 6-1/2′ beds to 8-1/2′ and 8′ beds to over 10′. It fits most full-size truck beds, installs easily with no drilling required and features a fold-down tailgate for convenient cargo access. One of the most unique features of the tailgate extender is its innovative pin-latch installation system. It requires no drilling, bolting or any truck bed modifications, other than opening the tailgate. The pin-latch system allows the unit to be installed or removed quickly whenever necessary. Also unique to this truck bed extension is its integrate tailgate. Instead of requiring you to climb over, flip up or uninstall the unit like competitive options, the CURT truck bed extender has a hinging, fold-down tailgate that provides quick, easy access to the truck bed. This CURT truck bed extender is engineered to be universal, making it compatible with most full-size pickup truck beds, including short-bed trucks and long-bed trucks. With the tailgate folded down, it attaches to rear of the truck bed, adding 26-1/2″ to the overall usable length. The squared off corners provide maximum storage space, unlike round-corner models. This unit also break down into three panels for compact storage when not in use.
